Jeff Dove is honored by the endorsement of the law enforcement professionals that make up VAPBA.
Congressional candidate Jeff Dove has received the endorsement of the Virginia Police Benevolent Association, the state’s top organization advocating for the state and local law enforcement professionals.
“We plan to ask our members, their friends and all citizens who respect the strong and efficient enforcement of our laws, to vote for Jeff Dove in his race for Congress in Virginia’s 11th Congressional District,” said Association President Joseph Woloszyn.
The group is a division of the Southern States Police Benevolent Association, a 47,000-member group that advocates for law enforcement officers employed by federal, state, county, and municipal governments.
The endorsement comes six months after incumbent Democratic Congressman Gerry Connolly, was videotaped berating a police officer at Dulles Airport. Dove is seeking to replace Connolly in next year’s congressional election.
“This is a great endorsement from a great organization,” Dove said. “The men and women of law enforcement are the everyday heroes who place themselves between our citizens and the danger that constantly lurks out there. I couldn’t be more honored to have their support.”
